Building
Building a shelter is a long-term
project, and some skills, like masonry or plumbing, might not
be needed for many years. But to plan HAVA's future shelter,
we can always use people who are knowledgeable about any building
trade, architecture, land-use, animal management, finance, and
more.
In addition, volunteers with construction skills are needed to:
Make craft items for HAVA
to sell at events
Construct dog houses for foster
homes that don't already have their own
Set up portable kennels
Advise on any facet of shelter
design and construction
