had excellent success with Internet

HAVA
cannot take owner-surrenders
except in rare circumstances.
HAVA has only a small network of foster homes, and because our resources are limited, we must dedicate most of our efforts to stray, lost, found, or abused animals and to the mobile adoption-van acquistion fund. Unfortunately this means we can't take in most owner-surrendered pets.
If none of the above options will work for you, we might be able to take in a limited number of owner-surrendered animals and board them, provided you will pay all of the animal's expenses while your pet is in our care prior to adoption. We will advertise the animal for adoption and will take the responsibility for placing him or her with a carefully screened home. We will also, to the best of our ability, work with the animal in any way that will make him or her more appealing to adopters.
If
you believe we can help you place your pet, please contact
us at (360) 942-4716 or by email at hava@hava-heart.org
